Ping is a utility used to check connectivity

Ping is a utility used to check connectivity between networks via an IP Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) packet by sending an Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) to the IP address you want tested connectivity. The command name "ping" a term taken from a submarine sonar is currently active, which often emits pings when it finds an object.
Good Ping will display the message "reply" on the monitor screen. but if it displays the message "Request Time Out" means of connectivity between two computers does not happen. Quality judged by the amount of connection time out - go home (roundtrip) and the large number of lost packets (packet loss). Means the smaller the second number, the better the quality of connections.
