Indeed, the number of links (backlinks) strongly determine our position on search engines. But not just any links, but quality links. Link juice gives the weight on the quality of those backlinks. According GetFoundNow there are some rules that are used in the link juice, namely:
Know the placement of your links page: if you are exchanging links with other blogs in addition to the home page or the front page, then make sure you know where your link will be placed on the site. If you do not know where your link is placed then it could be a danger to your blog. It could be your link placed in places not reached by the robot google.
